Among upcoming debuts of a Russian, currently German based conductor Valentin Uryupin - Staatsoper Berlin Unter den Linden, Bayerische Staatsoper, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, New National Theatre Tokyo. He also returns to conduct Rundfunk- Symphonieorchester Berlin, ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien and Frankfurt opera.

The winner of the Solti international conducting competition in Frankfurt in 2017, Valentin collaborates with leading orchestras and opera houses all over the world, conducting the repertoire from Haydn and Zelenka to Widmann and Saariaho. In addition to his conducting career he often plays chamber music and clarinet concertos, particulary in play-direct role.
